Flashpoint was part of the Stormwatch team when Kussein realized that he had lost the war and decided to lay waste to Kuwait. He and the rest of the team (Battalion, Flashpoint, Sunburst and Nautika) stopped the soldiers from blowing up an oil field. In a surprise attack by Deathtrap and his associates Flashpoint, Nautika and Sunburst where attacked and thought to be killed but they were taking back to Gamorran as hostages.

Battalion lead a team to rescue his former team mates when he stumbled upon a man with the information that they where still alive. Flashpoint still held a grudge against Battalion and blamed him for not coming after him all these years, even when Backlash tell him that it was his choice were not Battalion. Flashpoint just said that making both people hate. Battalion and Flashpoint had went at it a few times when Flashpoint stepped out of line and tried to take out Strafe, Battalion’s younger brother.

Flashpoint has energy blast from his eyes that can track an enemy it can go around corners and turn on a dime.
His suit were composed by new experimental tri-kevlar body armour as well as an integrated communication systems.
