Fortunata

Fortunata was the daughter of an Italian Protestant castellan during the Thirty Years’ War. Her family and the local farmers were exterminated by the Catholic Spanish army and only Fortunata and her brother, Orlando, were spared. But she would have preferred to die than live as a servant of the murderers of her parents, and rebelled against them. As luck would have, Draka was there under the name of “Knight of Roccabruna”, a general ally with the Spanish. Charmed by the girl, he prevented the soldiers to kill her and Orlando. From that day, Fortunata joined Draka in his journeys, becoming the woman he most loved in his life.
