Francesco Drago

In the Max Universe, Frank Castle’s wife and kids weren’t murdered for witnessing a mob hit in Central Park like they were in the Marvel Universe. Instead, they were killed because they were caught in the middle of a shootout between rival gangs. Francesco Drago was in charge of the gang that instigated the shootout. Subsequently, Don Margello had tried to hire Frank Castle to kill Drago, but Castle declined and Margello was killed by Nick Fury’s agents. Shortly after becoming the Punisher, Frank turns himself in so he can kill Drago in prison. Drago tries to have the guards on his payroll kill Castle, but they fail and Frank successfully frames one for murdering an inmate that was a member of a rival gang to Drago’s gang. Drago and his men are left to wait for the Punisher’s arrival in a prison riot, and the Punisher comes disguised as a prison guard. The Punisher reveals to Drago that his family was killed by Drago and his men and that he was there to punish them. That causes the Drago crime family to quickly turn on each other and kill themselves until Drago was the last one alive. The Punisher then executes Drago.
