Frederick the Great

Historically, Frederick the Great raised the German nation of Prussia from laughable tertiary power to Major European Force.

In the comic, Frederick the Great: A Most Lamentable Comedy Breaching Space and Time, found at http://www.ftg-comic.com, he is presented in his less awe-inspiring form as a time-travelling dilettante who has the responsibility to save historical continuity, but who would, all things considered, rather be playing the flute.

He is accompanied on his adventures by Isaac Newton, and sometimes joined by Leonhard Euler and Emily Dickinson.

His first arc features him facing an evil plot by Salvador Dali to remove Reason from the world.
