Origin
Ginger Meggs, known as Genge to his friends, is a 10 year old mischief-maker who lives with his mum and dad, and his younger brother Dudley in an Australian suburb where he has his adventures with his best mate Benny, his girlfriend Minnie and his pets Mike the dog and Tony the Monkey, along with dealing with trouble from his ever exasperated teachers, bully Tiger Kelly and rival for Minnieâs affections Eddie Coogan.

Created in 1921 by as a newspaper comic strip by Jimmy Banck, Ginger Meggs has been running under diverse hands since then until today, making it one of the longest running continuing series in the world and the longest in its native Australia.
