Origin
Colonel Klrr, taking the alias Carl Warner, was sent to Earth with his family to embed themselves as humans. G’iah was his wife, taking the alias Gloria. Their handler Moloth would direct them to uncover a new technology dubbed Project Blossom. This new tech would be able of detecting Skrulls in their shape-shifted form.
Creation
The Warner Family debuted in Meet the Skrulls #1 by writer Robbie Thompson and artist Niko Henrichon.
Major Story Arcs
Project: Blossom
A member of Project: Blossom was already out killing hidden Skrulls and had turned his attention to the Warners. After being killed by their youngest daughter, Alice, Carl assumed the hitman’s identity and broke into the project headquarters. There, they found the daughter they thought had died, Ivy. She was being tortured and experimented on during the development of this new technology. Carl decided to break her out, but while escaping, Moloth killed Carl and joined Project Blossom instead. Carl’s wife, Gloria, hunted Moloth down and continues to investigate Project Blossom while living a quiet, undercover life with her daughters on Earth.
Kree/Skrull Alliance
After the destruction of their home, Gloria was living out of a motel with her three daughters. They continued searching for Project: Blossom labs. One such lab was all but abandoned except for a single DNA sample. It wasn’t Skrull though but rather Cotati.
They took the sample back to the motel to study it, while trading history lessons about the Kree-Skrull War and the potential of a Celestial Messiah to bring peace. However, the motel is attacked. Ivy shape-shifted into a large beast and protected her family from the blast in her mouth.
They tracked their attacker, an Earthbound Kree, to a house in the suburbs not unlike their own. They broke into his house to retaliate and found a family unit not unlike their own. Both families then received a transmission from Hulkling announcing the Kree-Skrull Alliance.
Powers & Abilities
Gloria has the innate abilities and learned skills of military trained members of the Skrull race.

Films
- Although she is only credited as “Talos’ daughter,” G’iah technically appears in the 2019 movie, Captain Marvel. She isn’t referred to be name until the 2023 streaming series, “Secret Invasion.”
- Gloria appears in the Disney+ streaming service series, “Secret Invasion.” It is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is portrayed by Emilia Clarke. Rather than part of the Warner Family, she is the daughter of Nick Fury ally, Talos, played by Ben Mendelsohn.
