The evil Golden Archer was romantically involved with the woman altered to be Lady Lark (much like the real Golden Archer and Lady Lark were involved). Golden Archer was shot in the head while fighting Hoss (whom he had ingeniously shot in the neck with an arrow made of his own teeth).
