Golden Eagle

Dennis Quinn, or the Golden Eagle, was a seemingly independent fighter pilot during World War II who, along with his pet eagle Freedom, fought in both the European and Pacific theaters.

While wearing what looked like a military uniform, (though golden in color) he did not seem to have a commanding officer or any subordinates.

Truth be told The Golden Eagle was a pretty blatant Blackhawk rip-off, to the point that the artist even used that looked like the Blackhawk logo on his uniform, the main differences being that the Golden Eagle didn’t have six fellow pilots, or the art work of Reed Crandall, plus there was that gold lame flight suit!
