Gomurr the Ancient first appeared when he helped the X-men Wolverine and Archangel look for the Crimson Dawn, in order to save the life of Psylock.
He aided the X-men and they managed to take the dawn save Psylocke’s life. He was a wisecracking old men, whom Wolverine couldn’t stand.
