Gorosaurus is a mutated allosaurus encountered and killed by King Kong but later found alive and fully healed on Monster Island. His exact origins have never been revealed.
Gorosaurus is differentiated from other carnosaurian kaiju by two traits. First, he is well known for his “kangaroo kick” which he used to good effect during the group battle against King Ghidorah. Second, he is able to burrow underground, as he did in attacking Paris while mind-controlled by an alien race, something that real world carnosaurs do not do.
