Gorr was created on Counter-Earth and sent to Earth to enlist Fantastic Four‘s help to save his homeworld from Galactus. After arriving to earth, he somehow mutated into giant mindless gorilla, but was soon reverted back to more intelligent form while fighting the Fantastic Four. He got their help, and they returned to Counter-Earth. He and Human Torch went to search another world to be consumed to save Counter-Earth, but failed to do so. Galactus however found a better meal and moved on from Counter-Earth leaving it be for the moment.
