The Gourmet is an affiliate to the criminal organization S.K.I.N.S. whose moniker is being an expert cook and culinary expert who uses weapons and elaborate death-traps synonymous to cooking devices.
The Gourmet would come into conflict with Alex Fleming a.k.a. SpyBoy at the time of discovery of his powers as Alex’s father, Sean Fleming and his grandfather George Fleming would set efforts to reveal the sources and reasons to Alex’s deep programming as a brainwashed super-spy.
The Gourmet sent one of his henchmen, Chinn in an effort to eliminate or abduct Spyboy as he was in a potential fight with Butch Moody before the activation of his deep-programmed fighting skills and cybernetic resources. Interventions of the fight with Bombshell would have Spyboy’s powers reactivated upon Chinn’s kidnapping and ransom of Butch Moody lead Spyboy to encounter The Gourmet who set to kill Butch Moody in a cholesterol-free oil fryer with cage. A failed rescue attempt by Spyboy put himself in the fryer cage with Butch Moody as the two tried to double-bluff The Gourmet into joining S.K.I.N.S. Upon Bombshell’s capture, one of her micro-bombs started a grease fire that lead the cage to fall and the two teens to escape into a battle with Chinn, his henchmen and The Gourmet into his kitchen where Gourmet set to combat Spyboy by eliminating him through a high-powered garbage disposal that would catch onto the Gourmet’s own arm then whole body, grinding the villain to pieces to a horrible death.
