Trachta was an Imperial Grand Moff who unsuccessfully masterminded the Anti-Sith conspiracy and attempted to kill Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. While pursuing a Padawan who’d defected to Count Dooku, said Padawan used a thermal detonator to avoid capture. As a result, Trachta lost his eyes.
