Gregson Gilbert

Gregson Gilbert is an inventor and professor at Empire State University whose most famous creation is the Dragon Man. He was compelled to build the being because of the Cosmos Automation Program, a device of the world-devourer Galactus used to create cosmic powered beings capable of softening the defenses of worlds he wished to consume. 
 
Before Gilbert could activate Dragon Man, it was brought to life by the alchemy of Diablo.
