Gremmy Thoumeaux

Appearance

Gremmy wears a long, white, hooded trench coat as part of the standard Sternritter uniform. He has light blond hair that’s messy and tousled, with king eyes and a young face. He also has a small body structure and is usually seen with his hands in his pockets.

However, it is later revealed after his defeat that Gremmy’s appearance was a product of his imagination, and his true form nothing more than a disembodied brain inside a a glass shell.

Personality

Gremmy is very prideful, and at times can be arrogant. He has full belief in the strength of his power, which can be his weakness. He’s seen as merciless on some occasions, such as when he ruthlessly killed Guanael Lee. He believes himself to be the strongest Sternritter, and has showcased his power on numerous occasions.

Also, Gremmy has never displayed aggression or hostility against people normally, usually assuming they are lesser beings than him. However, it wasn’t until Kenpachi directly challenged him that he realized he had an ecstatic desire for killing, becoming euphoric and overjoyed at the thought of killing him, reaching a “killers high”.

After this Gremmy became sadistic and desperate, resorting to any means to settle the fight. It reveals a somewhat selfish and cold side of him too, as he created a meteor that was capable of destroying all of Seretei and was unbothered by the possibility his comrades would lose their lives as well.

Powers and Abilities

Gremmy has the ability to turn fantasy into reality. Anything he imagines, anything at all, becomes real. This makes him a reality warper, and despite not using their powers to it’s full extent, he is still a formidable opponent to face in battle.

Basic Quincy Powers –

Blut – Quincies have the ability to make Reishi (spirit energy) flow directly through their bloodstream, greatly increasing their offensive and defenses capabilities, as well as physical prowess and overall power. It can be divided into two categories, Blut Vene (which increases there defense) and Blut Artery (which increases their offense).

Hirenkyaku – A high-speed movement technique utilized by the Quincy. It allows them to apply Reishi directly beneath their feet, to boost their speeds.

Reishi Manipulation – As almost all Quincies do, Gremmy first absorbs spirit energy from the atmosphere and things around him, before combining it with his own energy (reiryoku) to form spirit weapons. Examples of this are Heilig Pfeil

Ransotengai – A special technique that allows users to control their using strings and lines made from Reishi, which are connected to their brains. This lets the user move their bodies around like marionettes, and allows them to continue fighting despite multiple injurues such as paralysis, broken bombes, and wounded limbs.

The Visionary –

Gremmy’s schrift is the letter designation “V, the Visionary”. This allows him to manipulate reality itself, which comes with a host of powers. Gremmy is capable of-

Turning anyone’s bones into cookies.

Gremmy can also manipulate the earth with just a thought.

Gremmy can change his durability at will.

He can also make it if you pierce his body you will not be able to remove what pierced him.

Gremmy can instantly “heal” himself

Gremmy can conjure things such as Lava out of nothing.

Gremmy can turn things such as air into water. He can use this to trap an enemy.

Gremmy is able to form objects out of nowhere to protect himself.

He does something similar in the next chapter.

With these defenses, he is can also go offensive as well.

Gremmy can conjure weapons out of nothing and fire them immediately.

He can also conjure stone objects incredibly high in the air.

The last and greatest object he is able to conjure is a meteorite. The meteor had the power to destroy the entire Sereti.

The final thing Gremmy is able to do is teleport a person into outer space.

Gremmy greatest technique with his power is that he can create a clone of himself. This allows him to double his power basically allowing for everything I have shown to be doubled and to be twice as powerful.

He can even make even more clones which continues to add to his power.

He had demonstrated all of these abilities one way or another, and even more through his creation Guanael Lee.
