The second Grey Man replaced the first one shortly after his demise. He set out to initiate suicide on a global scale with the help of Dr. Irwin Teasdale. The Grey Man savored the dream essences for himself and planned to conquer the planet and cosmos with that power. The combined efforts of the Lords of Order and Chaos and the Spectre were able to lobotomize the Grey Man, making him continue his assigned task, but feeling and unerstanding nothing at all.
