Machiavellian droid who looks after the Judge Child when Dredd refuses to take him back to Mega-City One, judging him evil.
Years later he tries to clone the deceased Judge Child, but something goes wrong and the cloning process gives the birth to ‘The Mutant’. This twisted and evil creature would have destroyed Mega-City One if Dredd and Anderson hadn’t intervened at its birth and killed the creature before it could fully develop its powers. After this act, Dredd decides that Grunwalder is too dangerous to be left alive and orders him to be dismantled.
