The latest in a long line of Guardians (a heroic lineage passed from father-to-son that dates back to at least Napoleonic Times), Maxime Saint-Clair is France’s last rampart against evil and terrorism. Trained since birth, Maxime is in peak physical shape (like Doc Savage or Batman). Like many Republican Guards, he is an agent of the French Republic working with law enforcement to better protect it’s citizenry.
His main opponents are the vicious crime syndicate CRIMEN, the supposed successors to the infamous ‘Black Coats’.
Has a sidekick, as many of his predecessors have opted to take on, a lovely streetwise young woman codenamed Marianne.
