Origin
Hack Axeley is a private detective who built up a lot of evidence on several crime bosses including Baldy Pate and Gerk Kreg. This information is used by his two employees Baxter Forbes and Ida Horn to blackmail the crime bosses. Eventually this leads to the death of Mr. Axeley as he is beaten to death by the Terror also known as Baxter Forbes.

Hack Axeley was created by Steve Ditko in 1968. He first appeared in Beware the Creeper 1.
