Haku

Origin

Haku was born in a snowy village somewhere in the Land of Mist. He inherited the Hyoton kekkei genkai from his mother. When this was discovered by his father, he murdered Haku’s mother then tried to kill Haku. Reacting on instinct, Haku killed his father with ice he created. With no family, he was a child beggar until he was found by Zabuza Momochi, one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist.

Haku was trained as a ninja of the Hidden Mist Village and quickly climbed in their ranks. After Zabuza’s attempt to overtake the leadership of the Mist Village, Haku followed Zabuza to become a Rogue Ninja that hired out their talents as mercenaries.

Haku (?, Haku) is an antagonist of the Naruto series that was created by Masashi Kishimoto. It first began serialization Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in November 1999. He would not appear until the Land of Waves Arc that begins in Volume 2.

He first appeared in Naruto Volume 2, CH. 15 “Return of the Sharingan”.

Powers & Abilities

Haku is very dangerous,as he was trained by Zabuza, a Jounin for years. Zabuza has said that Haku is more dangerous than him as Haku had a lot of talent. Haku possessed a great deal of knowledge of the human body, such that he could kill or disable a ninja just by hitting a spot in his body. Haku was also very analytical, he is able to gather a lot of data just by observing his enemies’s movement.

Also, Haku possessed the kekkai genkai of ice release. Haku could utilise wind and water chakra to create ice. One of jis jutsu is demonical ice crystal which allows him to cross over to other mirrors very fast and attack with needles or senbon. Haku was so fast that Sasuke could only follow him after he awakened his sharingan.

Naruto (2002)

The Naruto anime series is the first direct adaptation of Masashi Kishimoto’s original manga. It’s produced by Studio Pierrot and first began airing in October 3, 2002. The series lasted for 220 episodes. The last of which aired on February 8, 2007, and it was then followed by the direct equal, Naruto Shippuden. Haku first anime appearance was in Naruto – Episode 9 “He Appears! Naruto Uzumaki“, which aired on November 28, 2002. His character in the Japanese series is voiced by Mayumi Asano, and the U.S. dub produced by VIZ Media is done by two separate actresses. Susan Dalian for the standard voice, and Mona Marshall for the child version.

Naruto Shippuden (2007)

The Naruto Shippuden anime series is the second direct adaptation of Masashi Kishimoto’s original manga. This series is produced by Studio Pierrot and first began airing in February 15, 2007. Haku’s first appearance in this series is in Naruto Shippuden Episode 621 “For My Friend”, which aired on May 3, 2012. His character in the Japanese series is voiced by Mayumi Asan, and the U.S. dub produced by VIZ Media has not made any cast announcements.

Haku did however have a brief appearance earlier in the series in Naruto Shippuden Episode 55 “Wind”. This was only in a flashback and he had no spoken lines.

He is in Naruto Ultimate Ninja Road two, as a playable character, and as a support to Zazuba.
