Together with Zzzax and Quantum she would come to blows with the West Coast Avengers. Taking on hand-to-hand combat with the Avenger Mockingbird. Once touched by Half-Life, Mockingbird quickly started to age. Iron-Man would come to Mockingbirds rescue however Half-Life’s powers worked beyond the protection of Iron-Man’s armor also quickly aging him. Wonder-Man would swoop down and carry off Half-Life to the skies unaffected by her abilities due his ionic being. All the three members from Unified Field were defeated and as the Avengers West Coast gathered back together. Just than Graviton attacked from above already with fellow Avenger Tigra as his captive. Using his gravitational powers he held the team captive and ferried them along with Half-Life to his floating island fortress.

Now Half-Life and the rest of the team went about their ways atop the floating fortress, she herself went to meditate in her chambers. Tigra in her Greer Nelson human form disguised herself as one of Gravitons soldiers and went to both Half-Life and Quantum stating to both that the other was out to eliminate them. Half-Life than confronted Quantum and during the ensuring battle she seemingly vaporized after battling both Quantum and Graviton. In the course of the battle Half-life remains were thrown into space aboard Graviton’s floating fortress, and as a result destroyed the fortress.

Enter Quasar

Half-Life briefly battled Quasar in the American deserts as she had reappeared after her last battle with the West Coast Avengers. Quasar quickly realized that she was able to dissolve the bonds of his light energy constructs. Using a clever trick by wrapping her thigh high boots as bonds to restrain her, realizing they were unaffected by her abilities.
