Major Story Arcs
The Marauders
Healer was one of the few that managed to escape the massacre of their community by the superhuman team of assassins known as the Marauders. He was however captured by the Marauders named Sabretooth. Sabretooth had been slaughtering many more Morlocks, and was about to kill Healer. Luckily, the X-man Wolverine intervened at that same time. Logan knew how valuable the Healer could be in treating all the wounded Morlocks and got Sabretooth to let him go by saying “your fighting old men now, is that the best you can do or wanna try fighting against a real challenge?” namely, himself. His plan worked and Sabretooth let Healer go as a brutal fight erupted between Wolverine and Sabretooth, with Wolverine coming out victorious. The Healer was dispatched to Muir Island, home of the genetic research station run by Moira MacTaggert, to tend to the wounded survivors of the massacre.
Death
Years later, after the surviving Morlocks had returned to the underground, the Healer sought out the Morlocks’ former leader, Callisto, to enlist her aid in resuming leadership of the Morlocks following the death of the usurper, Masque.
Rejecting the Healer’s request, Callisto was attacked by the Morlocks and both she and the Healer were injured in the battle. Seeking refuge with the superhuman mutant adventurers known as the X-Men, the Healer gave the final measure of his power to heal Callisto, leaving him a lifeless husk.
House of X: Return to life
After Charles Xavier and a group of well-known X-men mutants (whom became know as The Five) conquered death, many mutants, both allies and former foes, where brought back to life. He accepted the offer and soon found a place alongside the mutant.
