HISTORY
Roommates with a dancing girl named Betty Stevens, Helen Day finds herself in a relationship with Mr. Van Wolff. After an interview with Ruth Ransom photographed by Paul Patton, Betty is shot and killed. Later, someone steals the pearl necklace of Mrs. Van Wolff. The Fox investigates the matter. Mrs. Van Wolff’s husband, Mike Van Wolff, is later discovered to have been in a relationship with Helen, and he murdered Betty because she would not return the pearls.
Mrs. Van Wolff shoots her husband when she discovers the truth.
