During the Infinity War crossover  , a number of heroes and even a few villains had doppelgangers made of themselves by the Magus, much like Spider-Man’s Doppelganger. Daredevil’s doppelganger, Hellspawn, looked more literally like Daredevil’s demonic namesake. Later, when the creature died during the Fall from Grace story arc, it turned into Matt Murdoch’s human form, albeit with horns. Daredevil used this as a way to fake the death of Matt Murdoch, and took on the new alias of Jack Batlin.
