As part of the annual tradition at Kingston High, the jocks select Herschel as their target for hazing as a rite of passage for making the varsity football team. Herschel is held down and forced to say that he is a skid mark. Things are about to escalate until Tim arrives and humiliates the lead jock by spanking him mercilessly. Herschel watches with apparent joy and, at Tim’s request, agrees not to become a spineless music critic. Herschel then watches Tim speed away at superhuman speeds.
