Major Story Arcs

The fakir meets Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd and agrees to help them find the Great Voodini for a bit of money. They pay and he takes them to the home of the maharaja. After he drops them off, he asks why they want to meet with the Great Voodini. They explain that they are trying to learn the secrets of the magic wand. Realizing his folly, the fakir makes a surprise visit to Ali Bejabbers who instructs him to dispose of the boys.

The fakir returns and finds the boys in prison. He digs them out and gives them disguises to wear. He tricks them into covering their eyes and he makes them walk into a huge box, which he locks and tosses in to the sea. It is not clear if he hears later that his efforts were in vain, as the boys find a way to escape.
