Origin
Hiram “Ram” Riddley was a computer hacker who hacked into Captain America‘s Hotline and began filtering calls for him based on their relevance, urgency and importance.
Creation
Hiram Riddley was created by Mark Gruenwald and Paul Neary and first appeared in Captain America #313 and made sporadic appearances afterwards.
Character Evolution
Ram eventually gave up on his hero when his mother was shot during a car-jacking and Captain America and his friends had done absolutely nothing to prevent these types of crimes.
