Homer

Character History

Homer is a vampire and a janitor in the Grendel’s Palace casino. Most of the vampires of this era are being kept prisoner in this casino, and are guarded by the Grendel Corps.

The vampires have been stuck in there a long time, and are getting very restless, but their leader, Pellon Cross, is having a hard time motivating them to action. He can get them to riot every once in a while, but it has no real effect.

Homer is one of the most downtrodden of all the vampires. He’s weak and meek, and the other vampires mostly ignore him. He likes to go up on the roof, where he has made friends with the birds, and has even trained them to let him drink a little of their blood.

Pellon Cross, however, comes up on the roof one night and gives him a speech about how they deserve to be free, and inspires Homer. He sends his pet birds out to knock down the laser fences outside. The vampires take advantage of the situation and there is a mass escape, all due to Homer’s clever and timely intervention.

Powers

Homer presumably has a vampires’ traditional powers and weaknesses: enhanced strength, speed, and endurance, and a susceptibility to sun, water, and fire, although he seems especially weak relative to other vampires.
