Origin
Homunculus is a massive and dreaded villain who was active as far back as ancient Egypt, however he would often be defeated by the heroic golem Nephilim. As well as being enemies with Nephilim, Homunculus is also a villain to Dragonfly.
Creation
Homunculus is a Boom! Studios published character that first appears in the 2012 series Deathmatch, appearing in its debut issue Deathmatch #1. Homunculus is designed and created by writer Paul Jenkins and artists Carlos Magno and Michael Garland, writers and artists of the series.
