Hound is one of the smaller Autobots, meaning his role of scouting and collecting intelligence suits him just fine. His alternate form is a Mitsubishi J59 (he is sometimes, however, mistaken for a Jeep). He wields three weapons: A missile cannon, a machine gun and most notable, his hologram gun. This weapon is what makes Hound unique and sets him apart from the rest of the Autobots. Hound has been known to collect, invent and project holographic images with this gun, even at one point creating a hologram so large and realistic that it intimidated the mighty Decepticon Devestator, turning the tide in the middle of a very difficult battle. With his hologram collection skills, Hound was also invaluable in the construction of the first three Dinobots, giving the blueprints necessary to create their alternate forms. Hound was originally the main scout and also big brother figure for Daniel Witwicky, but Bumblebee soon took this position instead.

According to a gameplay trailer Hound will be one of the multiplayer playable Autobots in the game. It is unknown if he will have a special ability.
