Allen Lanier, wealthy playboy, has an all consuming passion for first hand destruction of crime and the elimination of all subversive elements, to work toward this end, and inspired by his favorite novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame, he dons a costume that makes him appear to be an hunchback and fights evil as The Hunchback.
Possessing no superpowers, abilities, or gadgets, Allen is a good hand to hand combatant, and the fake hump protects him from being stabbed in the back. Â Â
