His star story in Transformers took place in “King ‘Con” [US #54, UK #235] when he scaled the Empire State Building to affix a MacGuffin of Doom to its spire. His defeat here did not keep him down long, for he survived long enough to cower before the mighty claw of Unicron in “On the Edge of Extinction!” [US #75, UK #319-22]. His final death scene, however, showed him ripped in twain by the psychotic skeleton samurai Bludgeon [“Stormbringer” # 4].
