Iron is one of the Metal Men created by Doctor Will Magnus. Like the rest of the Metal Men, he is powered by a “responsometer”, a nuclear powered microscopic activator. Not only does this device animate his body, but it endows him with a distinct and decidedly human intelligence and personality.
