The Iron Punisher is a Sentinel that was attacked while searching for mutants with a group of other Sentinels. A team of mutants and super powered beings destroyed and wrecked it and his band of Sentinels. However when he was taken down by the Scarlet Witch something occurred with her magic allowing the Sentinel to feel. It was on that day he no longer limited his wrath towards mutants and instead targeted all super powered people and it became the Iron Punisher.
