A character called The Shark appeared in Captain Midnight 33 during his Fawcett run in the 1940s.
Ivan Shark was Hitler‘s top technology developer and a high ranking officer of the Nazis. He even knew some of Hitler’s key plans. In a battle against the Secret Squadron, Ivan was accidentally knocked off the castle’s wall by Captain Midnight. Having survived the fall by landing on soft snow, Ivan’s head was ripped off by an angry polar bear.
He is survived by his daughter, Fury Shark.
