Jack Tarrant was the president of the London “Vampire Club” who tried to take advantage of Dean Barrymore‘s fame as a vampire hunter during their youth. Dean was famous for his public shows where pretended to hunt and kill vampires, with the most famous episode being the one of the “Highgate vampire”. However, Dean gave up because break into the cemetery’s sepulchres was illegal, but Jack did it in his place and got arrested. The public eye confused their actions, and Dean’s reputation was partially tainted. From that day, the two despised each other, but eventually they changed their mind to help Harlan Draka and his friends in their fight against real vampires.
