Jakar

Jakar is from another dimension. He is bitter enemies with the Stranger and plans to defeat him and take his place. Jakar has no powers of his own and uses advanced technology to achieve his goals. He dresses like the Stranger and makes himself appear to look like the Stranger, his true form is slightly less human.
 
To defeat the Stranger he required information. He learned of the globes of energy possessed by Tyrant and formed a plan to retrieve one. He engineered the reincarnation of Persephone and had her join forces with her old rival Ganymede. Jakar tricked them into thinking that they would face their old foe Tyrant in order to get what he wanted. 
 
He obtained the globe with their help and lead them on a wild goose chase to find Tyrant, who unknown to them had been destroyed. He was then met by Jack of Hearts, who had sworn revenge for Jakar having taken Ganymede from him, and the Silver Surfer. The Surfer knew Jakar had no power of his own and simply destroyed parts of his ship. Without his technology, he was no match for the Surfer and his globe was destroyed.
