James Robinson

Robinson appears as fictionalized version of himself in the 2015 miniseries Airboy. In it, he and artist Greg Hinkle, also appearing as a fictionalized version of himself, are hired to write an Airboy series. Instead, they end up partaking in various debauchery, including a three-way and snorting heroin. They both inexplicably see the character Airboy. Robinson decides to help the misplaced Airboy, who is disgusted by modern times. Robinson (somewhat comically) portrays himself as a degenerate, addicted to both drugs and casual sex, and a tortured writer who is ashamed about his work.
