At the start of World War II Jane Martin was a resourceful nurse noted for her bravery and the fact that along with being a nurse she could also pilot a plane, before the war was over she also started helping the war effort as a sometimes spy and later as a full time spy.
After the war she left nursing and became a reporter for a while, then a demonstration pilot and saleswoman for The Hurry Aircraft Company, this however did not stop her adventures as trouble seemed to follow her no matter what job she had.
