Jayce originally appeared on The 1960’s Space Ghost cartoon series with his twin sister Jan. Jayce, Jan and Space Ghost’s origins were not revealed until DC’s 2005 six-issue miniseries where Space Ghost rescues Jayce and his sister Jan from Zorathians that were attacking their homeworld. Space Ghost defeats the invading Zorathians and meets his arch-nemesis Zorak for the first time. Since both Jan and Jayce’s parents were killed in the invasion, Space Ghost decided to adopt the two orphans and train them as his sidekicks.
In Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Jayce and Jan sued Space Ghost for damages which include physically and mentally stunting their bodies.
