Jerry Lewis (March 16. 1926 – August 20, 2017) was an American actor, film producer, writer and singer, best known his slapstick comedy style. However, he may eventually be best remembered for the several decades of dedicated work he performed for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, aka MDA. Jerry helped to raise a ton of money for MDA, mostly via the annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day MDA Telethon.
