Creation
Jimmy Boland was created for the TV series “Falling Skies” where he was played by the actor Dylan Authors. Even he has a important role in season 1, he didn’t appears in the comics until the second volume Falling Skies: The Battle Of Fitchburg.
Falling Skies (Season 1)
Jimmy Boland was a 13 year old boy who lost his entire family during the Invasion of the Earth. He skipped one day of school to see a movie – it was the day of the invasion. His mother, father and even his young sister died during the attack. Since then, he joined up with the 2nd Mass as theire youngest fighter.
He was very close to Captain Dan Weaver (they have nealry a father/son relationship) and Weaver was always looking out for Jimmys safety. He also became very close to Margaret at the finale fight of the first season.

Falling Skies (Season 2)
Three month after the finale of season one, Jimmy and Ben Mason builded up a friendship. They both going out to kill some Skitters but Jimmy was badly wounded. Anne Glass tried everything to safe his life but he died because of the injury. He was laid to rest at a playground.
