Jimmy is a young boy who lived in Africa, in the Belgian Congo, with his parents. These will be killed in troubled circumstances and the young boy will be repatriated to Belgium near the rest of his family. From then on, he has only one idea in mind, to return to Congo and find his father back because he is convinced that he is not dead.
