Jin is the son of Ken Saotome, who was killed one year before the Cyberbots game takes place. His unfortunate death motivates Jin to become the best Variant Armor pilot around. He is the pilot of the VA (Variant Armor) BX-02 Blodia. Jin is playable character in the first two Marvel vs. Capcom games and is an hidden character in Tech Romancer(1998).
