She earned the nickname “Perfect Dark” for completing the institute’s training tests flawlessly and in record time.Due to troubles during birth Joanna had a broken spine and therefore required a lot of assistance as a child. She was home school by her father who took her globe trotting while he tracked criminals across the world. While being home school Joanna was taught many spy techniques by her father. Her name is derived from Jeanne D’arc (Joan of Arc)
