Boxer Joe Devaney is in the small Balkan Kingdom of Luzano teaching the boy King Nicholas Robertus Christopher Alexander Paul Danilo Danilovich (Nicky for short) the manly art of fisticuffs and how to act like an American when Nazi that want to take over the kingdom kill him, about to ascend into heaven Joe hears Nicky calling him for help and heads back to Earth. On his return he saves the boy king and remains behind to protect him as Joe Spook.
