Joe Taggart is unjustly imprisoned and forced to play Spinball in Death Game 1999 . The story is renamed Spinball in Action #761204 and, after the merger of Action with Battle Picture Weekly #142 – Battle 142 , he and his Black Gladiators are forcibly conscripted into the World Security Batallion. In this role, they take on secret missions to maintain peace whilst travelling the world for the sport of Spinball.
