Origin
During the Invasion of Poland at the start of World War II John Kowalski dies a coward when he could have helped many others. As punishment for this Death puts a curse on him that causes his spirit to travel the world and possess other people just before they are about to die. Death however gives him a way to redeem himself, if he can help those around the body he is possessing, saving those who are about to die before their time, and making things better for others he will eventually be released from his curse
