Born to an affluent family, Johnny Savage was subjected to various treatments in an attempt to cure a perceived chemical imbalance.  The treatments started when he was four.  The final treatment was an alleged miracle drug.  It was meant to combine with residual drugs already in his system.  However, he was changed into something more, something meaner, something more powerful. Â
