History
Jonathon was the leader of a cult to Dormannu, but most of its members believed it paid homage to the Underchild instead. He attempted to murder Doctor Strange, but instead Doctor Strange defeated Dormannu and easily bested Jonathon.

Jonathon can grant others control of the dark arts, but the sorcery is too overwhelming and they burn themselves out after ten hours.
